On December 4th, Shinsegae Duty Free unveiled a special pop-up store at its K-Food Promotional Hall in Terminal 1 of Incheon International Airport. The store showcases premium Korean fresh produce, including Jeju tangerines, strawberries, and Shine Muscat grapes, offering travelers a unique taste of Korea.
This initiative is a collaborative effort between Shinsegae Duty Free, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT). It aims to introduce the superior quality of Korean fruits to international visitors and provide them with an opportunity to purchase premium fresh produce as thoughtful gifts.
In addition to fruits, the store features other fresh offerings such as cherry tomatoes, presented in gift-ready packages. Jeju tangerines, strawberries, and Shine Muscat grapes, which are already gaining popularity overseas, are highlighted as premium varieties supported by Korea’s advanced export infrastructure, ensuring consistent supply and quality management.
Jeju tangerines and strawberries, iconic Korean delicacies, are currently exported to markets like Singapore, Hong Kong, and Malaysia. Strawberries, in particular, have long been a favorite among international tourists visiting Korea. At Shinsegae Duty Free, strawberry-based snacks like “chocolate-covered strawberries” rank among the top-selling food items.
Travelers can enjoy high-quality Korean agricultural products at competitive duty-free prices while experiencing a new dimension of shopping at the airport.
