On May 17, Shinsegae Duty Free in Myeong-dong opened a Neo 4.0 concept store, the makeover of Montblanc Boutique.
First designed in 2014 by Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, the world-renowned interior designer of France, the Neo concept of Montblanc has continuously evolved to pace with the changes in the luxury market and consumption trend.
With the silhouette resembling the ridge of Mont Blanc encompassing the black facade exterior, the Montblanc Boutique in the Neo 4.0 concept demonstrates the unique brand identity. Contrasting to the exterior, the inside is decorated in bright and warm colors. With that as a canvas, a delicate arrangement of diverse materials and textures, including travertine marbles, concrete panels in stripe patterns, and champaign-colored metals, accentuates Montblanc's colorful items for luxury lifestyle ranging from writing instruments, leathers, and watches to new tech items.
Shinsegae Duty Free and Montblanc present charming and innovative goods exclusively from Montblanc that are inspirational in lifestyle through this new Boutique opening.
Especially, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Meisterstück writing instruments, Montblanc presents the "Meisterstück origin writing instrument collection," inspired by the archive, and the "Meisterstück leather collection," treated in the sfumato technique making the ink look blurred.
Meisterstück is the most iconic luxury writing instrument in the Montblanc collection. It is loved by many cultural and political figures, such as Nelson Mandela, Ono Yoko, and President Kennedy.
To celebrate the renewal opening, Montblanc also presents a Montblanc gift umbrella to customers purchasing at least $750.
