Shinsegae Duty Free opened SPACE OF BTS on September 4 at its Myeongdong branch.
It is the only duty-free service provider in Korea to operate an official product store for BTS, one of the most prominent global popstar group of the 21st century.
Apart from selling BTS goods, SPACE OF BTS plays songs and music videos in the store to make the shopping experience even more enjoyable.
Furthermore, SPACE OF BTS will be hosting a special promotional event in conjunction with a tour of Pyeongchang, the filming location for In the Soop: BTS, an original series produced by Hybe. After visiting Pyeongchang, tourists will be encouraged to purchase BTS products at Shinsegae Duty Free, for which they will receive various benefits.
A spokesperson for Shinsegae Duty Free said, “We are pleased to open SPACE OF BTS, an official store for BTS products where customers can enjoy shopping while appreciating BTS’ music. We expect it to be very popular with both Korean and foreign BTS fans.”
In response to the recovery of international tourism, Shinsegae Duty Free is currently preparing to launch several more brands that are in high demand among foreign tourists.
