A prominent Thai celebrity, actress Napapa Tantrakul, visited Shinsegae Duty Free Myeongdong, which is known as a “beauty mecca,” on February 16 to enjoy some duty-free shopping.
Tantrakul, who has 9.75 million followers on Instagram and 1.91 million YouTube subscribers, was accompanied by members of her family and the Thai influencer Chatthanan Thaosiriphan, who has 650,000 followers on Instagram and 330,000 YouTube subscribers.
Tantrakul, who debuted as an actress in 2003, has starred in many Thai TV dramas. Today, she is also a sought-after television show host and has her own YouTube channel. Thaosiriphan, who goes by “naffynaffie” on Instagram, designs content on beauty and daily life.
The group from Thailand perused various Korean brands and products on the shopping trip, which they took in celebration of Tantrakul’s birthday. Tantrakul and Thaosiriphan also filmed a celebratory message at the media facade for their viewers.
The Myeongdong branch has previously been visited by American pop star Rihanna, Filipina actress/singer Nadine Lustre, and several other foreign and Korean celebrities for official occasions or simply to shop.
