Shinsegae Duty Free signs MOU with Italian tourism board for joint marketing activities

- Will be working on various joint marketing/PR projects that make use of Italian cultural and tourism content
- Projects scheduled that accentuate the cultural and artistic assets of Italy and are expected to motivate customers to travel

Shinsegae Duty Free is planning to cooperate with the Italian National Tourist Board (ENIT) on marketing-related activities.

On October 25, Ryu Sin Yul, CEO of Shinsegae Duty Free, and Kim Bo-young, head of ENIT’s Seoul office, signed an MOU for future cooperative endeavors on advertising and marketing/PR.

As the former center of the Roman Empire and birthplace of the Renaissance, Italy is, to say the least, rich in historical and cultural relics. It is also home to global fashion houses, renowned restaurants, and various modern tourist attractions.

Thus far, Shinsegae Duty Free has conducted various marketing activities to ensure the highest quality of shopping and services for its customers. In 2023, both parties will be using Italian culture/tourism content as the basis for designing a (joint) key marketing image. They will also be operating thematic projects that highlight the best that Italy has to offer in each season.

A Shinsegae Duty Free official said, “We are delighted to work with ENIT on campaigns and projects that highlight the beauty of Italy. We will continue engaging in marketing endeavors that give customers an unparalleled duty-free shopping experience.”
